The tickets came today!!!! It was amazing to see a thick envelope in the mailbox just filled with tickets.

I looked through the pile and know of some days that I for sure won't be able to go, so there will be some tickets for others :)

Otherwise went to Maggiano's http://www.maggianos.com/ for dinner tonight with book club. I had the Chicken Pesto Linguine and oh my gosh it was awesome!!!! I have divided up the extras into 4 lunches and put some in the freezer--way to much food!!!! For dessert I had the apple crostada and that was also awesome. It was great to catch up with the "girls" and hang out for a while. All that read the book enjoyed it. If you have not read "Water for Elephants" by Sara Gruen, I would recommend it.

Excitement

YIPPEEE!!!!!

I got called tonight by the Minnesota Timberwolves organization. Apparently the raffle I entered at the State Fair has worked out for me. I won two season tickets for 39 of the home games. The only games I did not get were Cleveland and Boston. I am okay with that. It is still a lot of games.

We will have to see how many games I can make it to. Otherwise I may have tickets for friends, family, and co-workers. Stay tuned for updates here and on Facebook :)


Go Wolves Go Wolves Go Wolves!!!!

(Spoken by the one person who has never been to an NBA game in her life, but looking forward to the new experience).

Well the visit with Beth went well until Sunday morning when she woke up with stuff draining from her ear. As we sat in the Emergency Room, I just kept hoping that they would let her fly. The thought of making a 6 hour drive (3 hours to the half-way point and 3 hours back) was not how I had planned my Sunday to be :)

She just has an outer ear infection and is on drops. She says that she is feeling better, but now her throat is hurting. The doctor did say that her tonsils were enlarged. I told her to go to her doctor--let's see if she listens to her big sister :)

Otherwise we had a good weekend with lots of shopping. She got tons of clothes for the boys and herself so they should be able to stay warm this fall!!! She brings the boys up in three weeks and I am looking forward to their visit!!!!

It has been a while!!!

Hi all (especially Becca),

Well it has been a while since I wrote here. It has been a busy summer. I spent a lot of time at work and now finally have some time to catch my breath (just before things get busy again!)

This past weekend was my 20th high school reunion. That was more fun than I thought, but there were a lot of people I did not get a chance to talk to. I am guessing that is what happens. Also a lot of people did not come that I would have liked to have seen. Oh well, guess they don't have the curiosity that some of us have. I did get to catch up with some cousins that I never get to see and that was nice. Everyone seems to be doing so well from our class and that is great.

My sister flies up tonight to spend the weekend shopping. She is spending tonight at a friends and then we will meet in Burnsville to shop tomorrow. She will spend tomorrow night with me before flying home on Sunday afternoon. It should be a nice weekend and I know that she wants to get some clothes for the boys. They are fun to shop for :)

In a couple of weeks she and the boys are flying up. I am thinking we might go to the zoo and perhaps Wild Rumpus. Will have to see how things go. It will just be nice for them to come and they are so excited about flying on a big plane!!! It will give Beth an idea of how our trip to Vegas over Christmas will go with them on the plane.

Well that sums up life over the last few months :) and I will try to be more on top of this :)
