Brookings

Hi all,

Well I arrived in Brookings about 5:30 pm and got checked in. Free wireless in the rooms, woo hoo that is awesome!!!

The drive over was nice. Only a few sprinkles and saw a few wind farms. It is amazing how big those wind turbines are. I was very impressed with those.

I didn't really stop anywhere on the way except to use the bathroom a couple of times. I think my reservation here was only confirmed until 6 pm so I wanted to be sure and get here early enough.

After checking in I decided to walk to Applebee's (closest restaurant to where I am staying) just so I did not have to drive anywhere. Hopefully all of my hotels will give me options like that :)

I think tonight might be an early one. At least the room next door has finally shut down their TV which was really, really loud. So far no cowboys (hee hee, inside book club joke), but I will keep my eyes out.
