Pain!! Pain!!!

Today was a painful session in personal training. I got to the gym early so I did 10 minutes on the treadmill, my walking lunges, and then 5 minutes on the bike before Erin was ready for me.

We got started right away with 16 push-ups on the bar, triceps on the bar, and lunge lifts trading both legs. Repeat. Then we did shoulder presses (15 pounds for each arm!), smiley face lifts, and arm lifts. Repeat. Then I did abductor, another leg exercise, and donkey kicks. Repeat. Then it was obliques on the ball and triceps pulls. Repeat.

I have to admit the shoulder presses about killed me as did the arm lifts. Let's talk about the triceps pulls. I was grunting through out. It was very painful and I was so glad to be done and home to shower!!

As for the weight, I stayed the same. At least I stayed the same. The weight loss challenge has ended, but I am going to continue to watch what I eat and will probably still weigh myself in hopes of going down more :)

I love the names of some of the excercies...smiley face lifts, abductor, and donkey kicks...who comes up with those?!? Keep up the great work, the pain will all be worth it in the end (as well as being a pain in your "end") and you will make it! Have a great week!

Hi Jodi,
Sometimes I must admit that I forget the names Erin tells me and make up my own :) Although I have to admit all of the names in this weeks post are the ones Erin used--donkey kicks--included!!! Thanks for the encouragement :)
